Global Hands will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary this summer. We will have an encore performance by Ruthie & Jacks on July 4th 2010. These two lake country women have been performing together for over ten years. Blending with their sweet melodies and vocals are the haunting sounds of the hammer dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, and guitar. They sing folk, country, gospel, and perform many instrumentals that will keep you mesmerized.

Global Hands will be participating in the Eco Fair 360 July 16th-18th at Walworth County Fair Grounds in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The Eco Fair 360 will bring together hundreds of educators, entrepreneurs, and vendors. From the experienced green builder looking to catch up on the latest technology to the new parent looking to raise a more environmentally aware child, everyone will find something of interest. Workshops and seminars will cover everything from renewable energy, sustainable living practices, green building and transportation to gardening and landscaping, health and fitness, food and nutrition. Global Hands is having a shoe drive for the victims of the horrendous earthquake that occurred in Haiti. Love Inc. in Burlington is receiving a quarter for every pair of shoes obtained in this shoe drive. The money will go directly to the Haitians.
